Hello

My name is Henry Rivera, a Farmingdale State College Alumni. I Graduated in Fall of 2023 with a Bachelors in Architectural Engineering as a Student Athlete playing with Farmingdale State's Men Soccer Team.

My Story

I graduated from Hicksville High School in the Spring of 2019 with a 89.7 GPA and ranking in th top 29.5 percentile. I then enrolled in Farmingdale State's Architectural Engineering program, where I learned a great deal about the construction industry and the role of an Architect.

Within my time in the program, I learned how to work in group and individually on projects, see how difference the two approteches are. Within this time I enhance my efficency in Autocad and Revit as well as my design, construction, and structural design. Expanded my knowlage on local and international building codes.

I have Internship experinece at Delargent Design, Architecture, P.C. , where I sharpened my abilities in the previously mentioned Autocad and Revit. Gaining first hand experience in a Sole practitioners firm, from on site mesurements to material research.

Post-graduation I took another internship, soon promoted to an Architecural Drafter role, at Trinity Design by Vincent R Lemma PLLC. Here enhanced my drafting and mesuring abilities, with a larger focuse on basics of the field. I would occasionly be directly involved in the Preliminary Design phase and creating Construction Documents.
